Gionee has released M2017 smartphone in China with a huge 7,000 mAh battery. It is dual-SIM luxury smartphone that includes a curved edge display and impressive specs.

The smartphone was recently launched in China. Gionee M2017 is priced at 6,999 Yuan (around $1,008). A special mode of the smartphone that features Italian custom alligator leather on its rear side is priced at 16,999 Yuan (around $ 2,446).
There is no information on when Gionee M2017 smartphone will be releasing outside China. It is now open for online pre-orders in China, but the the official site shows that the device has been fully booked, NDTV reported.

Gionee M2017 comes with a 5.7-inch dual-edge curved screen with quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels flanked with sapphire glass protection. It delivers a pixel count of 518 ppi. The device comes powered with Snapdragon 653 chipset.
It is packed with 6 GB of RAM and is available in two internal storage variants of 128 GB and 256 GB. The phone does not offer feature microSD card slot.
The smartphone is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS customized with Amigo 3.5 UI. It features 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual rear cameras. It offers 2x optical zoom as well as 8x digital zoom. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel camera for selfie.
The Gionee M2017 does not include 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes with the connectivity options such as GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, 4G and Wi-Fi and includes fingerprint sensor.
It houses a massive battery of 7,000 mAh that includes a set of two 3,500mAh batteries inside.According to Gionee, the M2017 luxury smartphone can deliver a standby time of over 915 hours along with a continuous video playback of over 25 hours. It carries support for Quick Charge 3.0.
The device measures 10.78 mm in thickness and weighs up to 238 grams. The smartphone is available in Black and Gold color variants, Indian Express reported.
