The Japanese developers are not looking to stray away from the original version of the sequel as they did not want players to to worry about the possibility of their purchase becoming obsolete in time though they would need to fork over a pretty sizeable chunk of change if they wanted all characters immediately instead of grinding for them.
Capcom added that the price point of the main retail offering for "Street Fighter 5" has dropped and even if they come up with new models, Capcom is still committed to our promise that the initial release is still the only version gamers will ever need to own with all game updates and balance adjustments available for free, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
