Another special feature of EMUI 5.0 is the machine learning algorithm that optimizes processing resources by analyzing the user's mobile usage behavior and prioritizing frequently-used apps. The new EMUI 5.0 also improved smartphone's security features. Now, users can ensure specific apps stay ultra-secure with features like the "App Lock."
In Huawei's press release, the company emphasized the ROM's ability to increase battery efficiency. Through its intelligent power management system, users can manage device's battery consumption through different power saving modes.
At its release, Honor 8 features a 5.2-inch display with 423 ppi pixel density. Its internal chassis consists of a Kirin 950 chip, supported with a 4GB RAM. Its internal memory varies with 32 GB or 64 GB.
