"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" fans, rejoice. The beloved romance between 4th Prince Wang So (Lee Joon-Gi) and Hae Soo (IU) has officially been named the Best Couple of the Year at the 2016 SBS Drama Awards.

The annual SBS Drama Awards is a star-studded event, where many of the greatest actors and productions of 2016 were recognized for their various accomplishments. The prestigious event took place on Dec. 31, 2016, Saturday, at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-Dong, Seoul, South Korea.

There, Lee and IU received the Best Couple Award for their undeniable on-screen chemistry and romance in "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," according to Korean newsoutlet Star News. The former also took home the Hallyu Star Award and the Top 10 Stars Award, while the latter won the Heart-Wrenching Award under the Idol Academy Award category.

In his acceptance speech, the "Scholar Who Walks the Night" actor expressed deep gratitude towards everyone, especially those who supported him from the beginning. He stated that none of this would be possible without the constant support of his fans at home and abroad.

IU also talked about winning the Best Couple Award. Though she and Lee did not expect to win, the singer-turned-actress said she is really happy to receive the said award. She added, "I'm very thankful to senior Lee Jun Ki who made our Hae Soo character came out beautifully."

Apart from Lee and IU, "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" stars Seo Hyun-Jin and Yoo Yeon-Seook and "The Legend of the Blue Sea's" Lee Min-Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun also won the Best Couple Award, All Kpop reported. Below is the full list of winners of 2016 SBS Drama Awards:
