The push from fans for “Descendants of the Sun” actors Song Jong-ki and Song Hye Kyo to get married would likely become stronger further if the couple wins anew in several categories of the ongoing 12th Annual Soompi Awards. The win of the SongSong couple as Grand Excellence (Daesang) awardee at the 2016 KBS Drama Award renewed the fan call for the two Hallyu stars to marry.
Best Kiss
The preference of fans for a romantic relationship between Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo is reflected in halftime results since in the Best Kiss category, they are currently leading. In the other categories, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo are in the top three, according to Soompi. For Spottoon Best Couple, they are on third place.
Song Joong-ki is in third place for Actor of the Year, while Song Hye Kyo is in second place for Actress of the Year. “Descendants of the Sun” is in third place for Drama of the Year.
Interestingly, Song Joong-ki and Jin Goo are in second place for Best Bromance, while Jin Goo is in first place for Breakout Actor. For Best Drama OST, “Descendants of the Sun’s” “Your Are My Everything” is in second place and “Everytime” in third place.
