After applying to patent some of the lyrical phrases of her hit numbers, Taylor Swift is now getting her legs insured.
The insurance process has been initiated. It has been reported that the long toned legs of the "Shake It Off" hit maker has been valued at a whopping amount of $40 million. The singer has taken the extreme and the unheard decision to "make sure that she doesn't lose everything if she was unable to dance on stage," New York Daily News reported.
"It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Swift wouldn't be able to give her signature stage performances," said a source close to the singer.
Swift's team was looking into how much the singer's legs were worth in case anything happens while the singer is on stage. Swift is also reportedly too taken aback by the huge amount as is surprised by the huge sum as she had expected that her legs might be worth a million. But amount of $40 million reportedly shocked and embarrassed the star.
The team of the 25-year-old star is in the process of getting the paperwork done so that the star's famous lean pins are insured before her world tour which is beginning in May, Grazia Daily reported. By getting her legs insured, Swift's name has been added in the long list of celebrities who have insured their most valuable assets.
Swift is a global phenomenon, thanks to her energetic stage performance on stage and awesome music. After having a series of failed romances with pop star Harry Styles, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and Taylor Lautner, Swift is reportedly single.
