The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) series smartphones comes in a premium design featuring a metallic frame and 3D glass on the rear. According to the official press release from Samsung, all three devices are dust and splash resistant as they have received IP68 certification and comes in beautiful colors like Black Sky, Blue Mist, Peach Cloud and Gold Sand,.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) sports a 4.7-inch display that provides a resolution of 720 x1080 pixels and a pixel density of 312 ppi. It measures 135.4 x 66.2 x 7.9 mm.The Galaxy A5 (2017) comes with a 5.2-inch display that has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 424 ppi. Its dimension are 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9 mm.

Samsung has emphasized that all three Galaxy A (2017) smartphones are equipped with enhanced cameras that can capture clear images and selfies even in low-light conditions. Front cameras feature floating camera button. It means while snapping selfies, users can touch anywhere on the display to use it as flash for capturing brighter images.
The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) series smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. These devices will be soon upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat OS. All three phones are equipped with USB Type-C ports and front-mounted fingerprint scanners.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) comes with 2,350 mAh battery whereas Galaxy A5 (2017) has a 3,000 mAh battery. The high-end Galaxy A7 (2017) is equipped with a larger 3,600 mAh battery. Samsung has blessed A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) smartphones with fast charging feature.
The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) smartphones will be available in Russia from early January and it will be sold globally later this month. The European pricing of these smartphones have been revealed. The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) are respectively priced at €330 ($349), €430 ($455), and €500 ($529), Phone Arena reported.
Which One to Buy?
All the three smartphones come with impressive specs but may be slightly costlier than their Chinese competitors. If one has to choose a smartphone among the three, it all boils down to the budget of the buyer as these smartphones are equipped with similar features.
