Many wrestling fans like to scour the internet for the latest rumors about the WWE. Here are some of the latest speculations in the world of sports entertainment. But just a friendly reminder, these are just rumors and nothing has been confirmed.
Chris Jericho, Fozzy starts working on new album
According to Cageside Seats, Jericho and his band Fozzy have already started working on their new album. It further confirms that "Y2J" is going to leave the WWE once again, possibly after WrestleMania 33.
Several news outlets reported that Jericho has been extending his deal on a monthly basis. However, his time with the company this time around is winding down. Fozzy is scheduled to appear on several music festivals around April and May.
Fans should drink "The Gift of Jericho" every time they see him live and on television because he will be absent once again. Although Jericho will come back at some point next year, he is going to be missed by everyone.
Reason for Alicia Fox storyline with Cedric Alexander and Noam Dar
One of the most interesting and surprisingly entertaining storylines at the moment is the love triangle between Fox, Alexander and Dar. However, there is an odd reason for it happening on television, per Bryan Alvarez of The Wrestling Observer (subscription required).
Alvarez noted that Vince McMahon loves how Dar's Scottish accent makes Fox sound like "Fu**s." The WWE chairman reportedly likes the idea of a WWE superstar swearing on a PG-show without getting censored.
'Ravishing' Rick Rude getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame
It was revealed earlier this week that Diamond Dallas Page will be the first inductee of this year's WWE Hall of Fame Class. The WWE has not officially announced it but that seems to be close to 100 percent sure.
The next name on this year's class is the late "Ravishing" Rick Rude, according to PWInsider (subscription required). Rude passed away in 1999 and he is considered as one of the greatest Intercontinental champions of all-time.
