While speaking with TV Line, co-showrunner Aaron Helbing said that Barry will do everything in his power to save the love of his life. He will also receive help from all of the members of Team Flash including Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Wally aka Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale.
As of late, it is still unclear how each of the members of Team Flash, as well as Julian, will be instrumental in saving Iris in another timeline. But in the previous episode, Julian helped the team by acting as a medium to communicate with the villainous character, Savitar. He also assumed the role of the villainous character during the last few episodes from the first half of Season 3.
Meanwhile, a new villainous character will also be introduced in "The Flash" Season 3 named Detective Jared Morillo or Plunder (Stephen Huszar). The new character will be part of episode 10, titled "Borrowing Problems From The Future."
This is not the first time that Barry will come face to face with Plunder. The character was previously introduced on the show when he journeyed to the mirror world once. At that time, Barry thought that Plunder was out to kill him in exchange for money. The lead character was able to luckily escape from his lair, but he did not know that Plunder also escaped from the mirror world.
While outside, Plunder teamed up with Blacksmith's Rogues, and it became their sole mission to launch attacks on Barry and his loved ones. In one of the photos from the upcoming episode, Plunder is seen wearing an all-black suit with one of his eye covered. He is also holding a gun.
"The Flash" Season 3, episode 10 will air on The CW on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. EST.
