Defending champions Juventus FC (14-3-0, 42 points) will look to extend their winning run to four games as they face lowly team Bologna FC (5-7-5, 20 points) at the Juventus Stadium on Jan. 8, Sunday in a 2016-2017 Serie A season encounter.

Juventus has won three straight games after their upset loss to Genoa in late November to stay on top of the Italian top flight table after 17 rounds of competitions.
La Vecchia Signora nipped second-running squad AS Roma, 1-0, during their most recent Serie A fixture on Dec. 17 held also at their home field of Juventus Stadium, as per The Sun.
Gonzalo Higuaín provided the winning goal of the contest in the 14th minute with a left-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner of Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny's net. The shot was assisted by German midfielder Sami Khedira.
Head coach Massimiliano Allegri was keen to not settle for a draw against their number one rivals this season and the Argentine striker made sure his boss will not have to worry about it.
"It will be a head-to-head confrontation against a team who are, at this moment, our number one enemy. A draw will not suffice for me, matches like this have to be won," Allegri said before the match.
Meanwhile, Bologna pulled off a second consecutive unbeaten performance by crushing cellar-dwellers Pescara, 3-0, on the road at the Adriatico Stadium on Dec. 18, ESPN reported.
Italian defender Adam Masina opened the scoring in the seventh minute before Swiss midfielder Blerim Dzemaili doubled the lead in the 41st to take a 2-0 advantage at the break.
Czech winger Ladislav Krejci completed the three-goal haul for head coach Roberto Donadoni's side with a penalty kick in the 57th minute.
Bologna is now in the 15th spot of the league table, 10 points above the bottom three relegation zone.
