Nintendo has used the Treehouse event as a means of showcasing the hands-on demos of various games. This is especially seen back during the E3 2016 event, when the gaming giant used the majority of its presentation time to show off "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
It seems unlikely that Nintendo will use the Treehouse Live to present the new "Legend of Zelda" game, however, as most fans already saw a lot of it in the past months. As such, it is likely that Nintendo will present a variety of other games to ensure that the Nintendo Switch has a strong starting lineup of games.
As for the new "Legend of Zelda" game, reports now claim that it will launch alongside the Switch, according to Game Spot. During the past months, it was widely rumored that the game will be delayed because of Nintendo's desire to refine the game. However, it seems that the company is back in schedule and will now release it on the Switch as well as the WiiU.
Regardless, the Nintendo Switch will be released on March 2017. The games confirmed for the platform include "Just Dance 2017," "Dragon Quest XI," and an announced "Sonic" game alongside "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
