Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is one of the most anticipated smartphones this year. However, Microsoft remained tight-lipped on the specifications of the Surface Phone 2017.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed that Microsoft aims for stunning specs and does not want to rush things to release their ultimate mobile device. Nadella revealed in the Australian Financial Review that Microsoft is determined to deliver something unique and will continue to be in the phone market.
Recently, images of the new smartphone were leaked on the Chinese social media site. The images of the Surface Phone 2017 were clear enough to provide some prototype in place which the name "Surface Phone" was printed on the back. However, it might actually be the finished product.
The photos of the Surface Phone appear to be a phablet-like smartphone which is similar to one of the XL versions of Nokia Lumia. However, it seems to be quite bigger than expected. It is considerably slim on phablet sizes rather than the standard handset.
The Surface Phone 2017 seems to have a larger camera with a Carl Zeiss tag which engraved near the flash. This camera might take high-definition images. The visible features included touch screen buttons; the home, recent and back buttons. According to Trusted Reviews website revealed that 3.5 mm earphone jack is visible at the top and on the bottom is the USB Type-C port for file transferring and phone charging.
Microsoft has the Surface brand as the best three in class devices that exhibit highest specifications and classiest design touches. These are the Surface Pro 4, the Surface Book, and the Surface Studio. The Surface Pro 4 is an ultraportable PC. The Surface Book is a detachable tablet-like screen for the business-focused laptop. The Surface Studio is best for ultimate graphics desktop computer.
These leaked images of the Surface Phone 2017 were not confirmed yet. Thus, many technology users are speculating that it will have a stunning phone chassis with a strong processor, larger memory storage, and larger phablet-like size.
