Teasers for Suzy's solo debut album titled "Yes? No?" have been released, featuring a sexier version of the 22-year-old South Korean singer and actress. Along with the release was the launch of Suzy's official website.
As early as 2016, rumors that Suzy was preparing to debut as a solo artist already surfaced. JYP Entertainment previously announced via Twitter that a standalone website and V-app channel under Suzy's name would be launched to promote her works and allow fans to directly communicate with their idol, The Korea Herald reported.
In December 2016, the agency confirmed that Suzy had already wrapped up filming for her album jacket and music video, suggesting that her album was well underway. With the recent release of the trailer teasers, fans have finally confirmed that rumors about her solo album coming out this January are true.
The first teaser shows Suzy leaning on a windowsill, revealing the artist's back and giving off a yearning vibe. The second one shows her cozily lying on a bed while looking at the camera in an alluring manner. The most provocative of the three is the third teaser, which shows Suzy clad in black lingerie and stroking her long, wavy hair with her fingers.
Suzy's upcoming solo album will reportedly include a self-composed track. This is expected to be a huge hit, following the success of her first self-composed release. Fans have looked forward to her next composition since the success of the track she wrote for her most recent Korean series, "Uncontrollably Fond," Asia Starz reported.
A representative of JYP Entertainment previously said that Suzy would throw her heart and soul into the album since it would be her first. While the agency has not yet released any information as to the album concept and track list, JYP Entertainment confirmed through its official SNS channel that "Yes? No?" would have its preliminary release on Jan. 17. This would then be followed by its full release on Jan. 23.
Meanwhile, JYP has yet to announce its future plans for Suzy's girl group, Miss A. Previously, the agency said that the group would not disband despite Jia's decision to leave the group last year to make her solo debut in China.
