It has already been 10 years since Lee Min Ho, 29, made his acting debut. To celebrate his 10th anniversary, the Hallyu star is holding a special fan meeting event to spend an intimate time with fans.
On Jan. 10, Tuesday, it was revealed that Lee has planned a special meet-and-greet event to commemorate his 10th anniversary since his debut, according to Tour Tainment. Titled "The Originality of Lee Min Ho," the special events will take place at the Grand Peace Hall, Kyung Hee University on Feb. 18 at 6:00 PM (KST) and Feb. 19 at 4:00 PM (KST), respectively.
At the fan meeting, Lee is expected to uncover diverse sides of himself that have not been known to many. Fans can also expect many fun interactions, stage games, and performances during the special event.
Raising anticipation for the special event, Tour Tainment just released "The Originality of Lee Min Ho's" promotional poster on Facebook. Price tickets for the said fan meeting range from $300 to $800.
Lee, who gained widespread fame in 2009's "Boys Over Flowers," has enjoyed a resurgence in his popularity ever since SBS's "The Legend of the Blue Sea" started airing on Nov. 16, 2016. He also received recognition and praise for his strong work ethic in the SBS drama.
In a recent interview with local media, as cited by Soompi, the show's martial arts director Yan Gil Young complimented Lee for his dedication to his action scenes. He said the Hallyu star has a strong grasp of basic action skills and his athleticism is without a doubt extraordinary.
"It's not just in Spain, but also places like the tea fields and the abandoned building," director Yan said. "It's all because of him that the action scenes were possible, and it's also thanks to him that the viewers have been giving rave reviews."
Further, Lee is said to be the mood-maker on the set in light of his considerate and friendly personality. Whether he is filming or just waiting for his turn, the actor always shows concern and courtesy to everyone, even those whom he only sees once in a while, it added.
