The spoilers for SBS' "The Legend of the Blue Sea" episode 14 are setting fans up for a huge and surprising revelations. It is said that Shim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun) will be stuck in another unfortunate situation in the upcoming episode.
On Jan. 02, Monday, a leaked teaser from "The Legend of the Blue Sea" episode 14 began streaming online. The 41-second-long preview left fans speculating that Jo Nam Doo (Lee Hee Joon) might expose Shim Chung's real identity.
This comes after Shim Chung transformed into a silver-tailed mermaid after she got herself into Heo Joon Jae's (Lee Min Ho) indoor swimming pool. She was having a good time in the pool until Jo Nam Doo suddenly walked in and was apparently taken aback.
Though it remains to be seen whether or not Jo Nam Doo saw Shim Chung as a mermaid, the preview ended with him stating "No way." The second half of the SBS drama will further delve into the fates of Kim Dam Ryeong (Lee Min Ho) and Se Hwa's (Jun Ji Hyun) modern-day incarnations, a source from the SBS drama told Korean news outlet iNews 24, as cited by Soompi.
As per the source, the connections between the characters, both present and past, will become deeper and more intertwined as the show goes on. The threat posed by Ma Dae Young (Sung Dong-Il) against Shim Chung and Heo Joon Jae will also be highlighted.
Meanwhile, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" lead stars have been named the Best Couple of the Year at the SBS Drama Awards on Dec. 31, 2016, Saturday, The Kpop Herald reported. The 29-year-old actor, who received the award without Jun, said the veteran actress could not come due to her underwater filming schedule. He added, "I'll personally make sure this massaging machine gets to her safely."
