With only three-episode left until "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo" ends, MBC just dropped new stills of Lee Sung-Kyung and Kyung Soo-Jin's character enjoying each other's company. In the show, the two plays Kim Bok-Joo and Song Shi-Ho, respectively.

The 14th episode of the coming-of-age drama, which was initially scheduled to air on Dec. 29, 2016, was postponed to Jan. 04 due to the live-broadcast of 2016 MBC Entertainment Awards. Despite the long wait, the new stills for the drama's next episode are already here, giving fans a hint of what could come.

The released photographs obtained by Korean newsoutlet SE Daily, as cited by Soompi, gave fans a glimpse of Kim Bok-Joo and Song Shi-Ho having a sismance moment. The two, who have maintained an uncomfortable relationship with each other since the first episode, were seen smiling splendidly near the campus fountain together.

Along with the new stills, a source from the drama's production company stated Kim Bok-Joo and Song Shi-Ho come to understand each other and grow more mature. They also asked viewers to look forward to their heartwarming friendship.

Meanwhile, Nam Joo-Hyuk, who plays Jung Joon-Hyung in the MBC drama, recently denied any romantic relationship with his co-star. As one of the guests on Nov. 13, 2016's episode of MBC's "Section TV," the 22-year-old actor was asked if there is any chance he and Lee would end up in a relationship one day.

In response, Nam said he has no romantic relationship with Lee and cheekily explained that the actress was more like an older brother who always looks after him. He also addressed the adorable picture that the "Doctor Crush" actress previously posted on her Instagram account. He clarified, "That [pose] was because the water was too cold and we had to survive."

Both Nam and Lee have received recognition and praise for their hard work in the MBC drama. At the recent 2016 MBC Entertainment Awards, the former nabbed the Best New Actor award, while the latter took home the Excellence Award in Mini-Series, according to Korean newsoutlet Star News.
