Fans of BTS's Rap Monster are in for a treat even after the holidays. The 22-year-old rapper recently released his latest single "Always" in his Soundcloud account and could be downloaded for free.

On Jan. 1, Sunday, Rap Monster gifted his fans with the release of his self-produced track "Always." He also posted the lyrics of the song along with a short message on the group's official blog, revealing that he started working on the said track in early 2016.

"When I was going through a hard time, I didn't want to just let those feelings pass, so I made a record of them," Rap Monster wrote. "Thankfully, I'm feeling a lot better now. However, it would be a bit of a shame to just let the song go because the emotions have passed, so I'm sharing it."

Though he planned to edit and organize it a little more, Rap Monster said he decided to just leave it as it was in order to preserve the feeling that he felt back then. He added, "Since when you're sad, sad songs can be the greatest comfort. Happy 2017!!"

Fans then have responded to the release of the self-produced track by posting "#Always_love_you_남준" (Namjoon) on Twitter. It is currently at the number one spot worldwide.

Meanwhile, Bangtan Boys have scored four million followers on Twitter, retaining their position as the most followed K-pop group on the said micro-blogging site. They are now ahead of other Kpop groups like SEVENTEEN, EXO, iKON, BEAST, GOT7, and INFINITE.

Ever since BTS joined Twitter in 2011, members Suga, V, Jin, Rap Monster, Jungkook, J-Hope, and Jimin have been actively making use of the said micro-blogging site to reach out to their fans across the globe. Hence, Twitter launched the first ever K-Pop emoji featuring the seven-member boy band in May 2016, Billboard reported.
