The second season of KonoSuba / Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! has finally arrived. On Wednesday, the sequel to last year anime hit will be premiering on Tokyo MX at 1:05 a.m (JST) / 10:45 a.m (US EST), promising another season of adventure, magic and laughter.
What you need to know about KonoSuba:
KonoSuba main plot follows the adventure of a shut-in otaku boy named Kazuma Sato who is sent to a fantasy world following his death. Mocked by the Goddess Aqua because of the hilarious nature of his death, he decided to pick the Goddess against her will to accompany him in the new world.
There, Kazuma also met an explosion-obsessed arc wizard named Megumin and a masochistic crusader Darkness. Together, they formed a dysfunctional party to fight against monsters, gain experience and hopefullyone day defeat the Devil King who threatens the land.
What to expect in Season 2:
After completing the tutorial phase of his adventure, Kazuma party had to deal with a moving fortress called the destroyer. With the help of every mage in Axes, they were able to defeat the Destroyer and prevent its catastrophic self-destruction by teleporting the power source of the fortress.
Unknowingly to them, the power source of the Destroyer was teleported to a noble's mansion before it exploded. Kazuma was held criminally liable as the brain behind the mission. And as what the trailer promo for the second season implies, there will be trial to determine whether or not Kazuma is guilty. All of a sudden, the wonderful world Aqua promised to him takes a wrong turn.

KonoSuba season 2, episode 1 will be premiering on Thursday at 1:05 a.m Japan Standard Time on Tokyo MX. The show will be streamed online every Wednesday at 10:45 a.m for US and North American viewers on Crunchy Roll.
