The Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship smartphone is expected to get announced next month at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 event. The alleged pricing of the smartphone has surfaced.
There are a lot of expectations from Xiaomi Mi 6 as it is rumored to be the first smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. It is expected to launch ahead of HTC 11, LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 that are also expected to be powered by the same chipset.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Variants
Rumors have it that the mass production of Xiaomi Mi 6 is in full swing. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be available in two screen variants. One variant is expected to come with a regular LCD screen and the other variant is rumored to arrive with an OLED curved display, Gizmo China reported.
Xiaomi is expected to also release three processor variants of Mi 6. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to feature Snapdragon 835. The Xiaomi Mi 6E is pegged to come with MediaTek Helio SoC or Samsung Exynos chipset.
A third processor variant featuring Pinecone chipset manufactured by Xiaomi is also said to be in works, BGR reported. As of this writing, there are no official confirmation or concrete evidence on the existence of Xiaomi Mi 6 processor variants.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to feature 6 GB of RAM and is also pegged to come in two storage options of 128 GB and 256 GB. It is rumored to feature a 16-megapixel rear shooter enabled with features like 4K video shooting and dual LED flash.
It is also speculated to come loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat MUI 9 OS. The Home button on the device is expected to house a fingerprint scanner and is also rumored to feature USB Type-C port. A 3,000 mAh battery will be powered the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone.
As far as design is concerned, it is expected to done-tone color with metallic rear. Black, White and Blue are the rumored colored variants of Xiaomi Mi 6.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Pricing
The Xiaomi Mi 6 with LCD screen is expected to be priced at 1,999 Yuan ($288). Its OLED variant is speculated to launch with Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus moniker with a pricing of 2,499 Yuan ($360).
