Xiaomi has reportedly stopped the production of Redmi Note 4. Speculations are rife that the Chinese company will soon release its upgraded edition that is dubbed as Redmi Note 4X. Here is a comparison between Redmi Note 4X and Redmi Note 4:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is expected to come with a Pegasus display panel whereas the Redmi Note 4 has a IPS LCD display. Both screens are of 5.5 inches and offer full HD resolution, Gizmo China reported.
The Redmi Note 4X is expected to come with Snapdragon 653 chipset that includes an octa-core processor. However, the MediaTek chipset powered Redmi Note 4 includes a deca-core processor.
The Note 4 is available in two models. The 16 GB Redmi Note 4 has 2 GB of RAM and its 64 GB model has 3 GB of RAM. The Redmi Note 4X is rumored to come in 32 GB and 64 GB storage choices. Both the models are expected to house 4 GB of RAM. Like Note 4, the upgraded Redmi Note 4X will be coming with microSD slot.
A 13-megapixel camera sits on the rear side of the Redmi Note 4 whereas a 16-megapixel rear camera is expected to be available on Note 4X. The Redmi Note 4 has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. However, the Note 4X is speculated to have it under its Home button.
The Redmi Note 4 has a 4,100 mAh battery with fast charging support. Rumors suggest that the Note 4X would be having a smaller battery of 4,000 mAh and it will be lacking fast charging support.
The 16 GB and 64 GB Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are priced at 899 Yuan ($129) and 1,199 Yuan ($173). The 32 GB and 64 GB Redmi Note 4X are expected to be priced at 999 Yuan ($144) and 1,199 Yuan ($173).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in Works?
Even though the rumor mill is talking about Redmi Note 4X, a new mysterious Redmi series phablet has spotted receiving certification from FCC (Federal Communications Commission) in the U.S., GSM Arena reported. The smartphone is dubbed as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 653 or 652 SoC.
