In the first few episodes of "Dance Moms" Season 7, the moms noted how Kalani Hilliker has turned into the new leader of the team now that Maddie Ziegler has left. Some of the moms, particularly Ashlee Allen and Jill Vertes, also claimed that Hilliker is Miller's new favorite student.
So it definitely came as a shock to everyone when Miller arrived at the studio telling Rumfallo that she needs to prove herself worthy of becoming the group's leader.
Ever since she joined the team when Ziegler and Mackenzie were still around, rumors already swirled that Rumfallo will be replacing the "Chandelier" dancer. However, she does not want to be Ziegler's replacement and simply wants to just do her own thing.
Unfortunately for her, it seems that Miller has some other ideas for the young professional dancer. In the previous episode, the controversial coach told Rumfallo that she needs to have different facial expressions and to win in the trio routine so she can give her the title she thinks she deserves.
Rumfallo's mom, Ashlee, was very pleased to hear what Miller had to say about her daughter. However, this did not sit well with the other moms who said that Rumfallo does not even want to become the team's leader. Hilliker, on the other hand, wants the role since the very beginning.
On Tuesday night, "Dance Moms" Season 7 will air another exciting episode. Even though it will center mostly on Rumfallo, the young dancer will be participating in the group routine that won the hearts of the judges.
In "ALDC Ain't Dead Yet," Miller will also pit her two youngest dancers, Elliana Walmsley and Lilliana Ketchman, against each other. The latter will rank first place, and the former will lag close behind her at second place.
"Dance Moms" Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
