Jo In Sung, who is best known for playing Oh Soo in 2013's "That Wind, the Wind Blows," recently talked about his close friendship with fellow actors Song Joong Ki, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, Park Bo Gum and EXO's D.O.
On Jan. 11, Wednesday, the 35-year-old actor welcomed fans on Naver's real-time broadcasting V-app to promote his upcoming political crime thriller film "The King." There, he was asked which actors visit his house frequently.
"Lee Kwang Soo comes over the most," Jo revealed. "Do Kyung Soo (EXO's D.O.), Kim Woo Bin and Song Joong Ki also come from time to time."
EXO's D.O., whose house is actually quite close to Jo, sometimes call the latter in the morning to ask if he had already eaten breakfast. He reminisced, "If I haven't, he'll bring some Seolleongtang (ox bone soup) over and we'll share a meal together."
In August 2016, Kim revealed to fashion magazine Elle Korea, as cited by Soompi, that there is a big dining table at Jo's house, which serves as the group's hideout. There, the actors will just have some tea and talk about happy things.
Meanwhile, Jo, who began his acting career in the 2000 teen drama "School 3," is set to make his comeback in the upcoming film "The King," Drama Beans reported. He plays an ambitious prosecutor, Park Tae Soo, who uses his colleagues and gang member friends to his advantage.
Directed by Han Jae Rim, "The King" is said to be the most-anticipated movie in South Korea due to its depiction of the country's political climate that includes power-hungry prosecutors. Besides Jo, the film also stars Jung Woo Sung, Bae Sung Woo, Kim Ah Joong, Ryu Jun Yeol, Jang Myung Gab, Kim Eui Sung and Jung Eun Chae.
"The King" is set to be released in South Korea on Jan. 18 and in Australia on Feb. 02. Check out the trailer here:
