The latest details and spoilers for "Arrow" season 5 will feature Talia al Ghul's role in the flashbacks and cast member wants Batman in the show.
It seems that Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig) will have an important role in Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) life during the flaschback sequences of "Arrow" season 5 as episode 11 synopsis titled "Second Chances" will reveal that Talia will help him in his fight against the Russian crime boss Konstantin Kovar (Dolph Lundgren).
According to the synopsis, Oliver will seek help from Talia in taking down Kovar, in exchange for a favor from him. However, when Oliver found out what Talia wants, he had second thoughts about seeking her help.
The synopsis also features small arc for Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) attempts to hack the NSA to help free Diggle (David Ramsey) but when her online efforts are flagged, she faces off against an unknown adversary and Curtis Holt/Mister Terrific (Echo Kellum) tells Team Arrow about a new vigilante named Tina Boland (guest star Juliana Harkavay), which he uncovered online who has been wreaking havoc all over the country, Screenrant reported.
It is unknown yet as to what kind of favor Talia demands from Oliver, but several reports claim that Talia knows the identity of season 5's big bad Prometheus. Showrunner Wendy Mericle stated in an interview that Talia will play a "crucial role" in season 5 in both past and present events and is revealed to be a a master of several forms of combat, but unlike her sister Nyssa (Katrina Law), Talia apparently opted not to choose sides in her father Ra's al Ghul's (Matt Nable) never-ending war with society, and instead created her own.
It is also rumored that Talia could be responsible for training Prometheus in to a killer as the later wants to take out the Green Arrow.
In other news, cast member David Ramsey wants to have Ben Affleck's version of Batman in "Arrow" TV series as he stated during the Wizard World Comic-con event that he wants both Batman and Green Arrow to "duke it out" when they meet, Batman News reported.
Ramsey added that he would love to see Batman in the DC TV, the problem however, is that both DC TV series and movies are in a seperate universe unlike Marvel who wants both their movies and TV series connected.
Although, several of "Arrow's" characters in the show used Batman characters, there is likely a chance that fans and viewers will see the Dark Knight could make it to the "Arrowverse", after all Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) appeared in "Supergirl" TV series, not to mention several reference related to Cape Crusader was mentioned in one episode.
"Arrow" season 5 returns on Jan. 25 8PM EST on the CW Network.
