Derek Zoolander and Hansel were back in action. This is what happened to the Valentino's Paris Fashion Week at the Jardin des Tuileries on Tuesday, Hollywood Reporter reported. The audiences were obviously on the fashionable gowns and collections but they did not see it coming.
Ben Stiller, who played the leading role in the 2001 comedy "Zoolander" came down dashing at the runway clad with Valentino's mix of suit and tie while Owen Wilson, who played Hansel, walk down the runway with Valentino's famed printed button down shirt matched with a pants with the same print.
The event was starstudded with the "who's who" of the fashion industry like Kate Mara, Cara Delevingne and Nicky Hilton, NY Daily News reported.
The sighting of Zoolander and Hansel on a fashion show signals a sequel of the 2001 movie. It is also rumored that the second Zoolander show will be directed by Ben Stiller and will be joined by Penelope Cruz who has signed a contract to do the movie, long before the Paris Fashion Week reveal happened.
Paramount pictures have also issued a statement today confirming that the new "Zoolander" movie hit the movie houses on February 12 of 2016. They also confirmed that the film has started filming last February of this year in Rome.
This is not Stiller and Wilson's first time to do a sequel movie together. In fact, they made three sequels for the "Night at the Museum" movie where Stiller plays a night guard while Wilson was part of the museum's attraction that came alive at night, thanks to the power of a magical tablet.
