Bournemouth has struggled all season long and is currently on a two-game winless slide. The team has been winless in four of their last five outings, including three losses, which settled them in the 11th spot of the league table, nine points above the bottom three relegation area.

The Cherries dropped an embarrassing 1-3 upset to newly-promoted side Hull City on the road at the KCOM Stadium last Saturday, as per the Star.

English midfielder Junior Stanislas opened the scoring early with a penalty kick in the third minute of the match for head coach Eddie Howe's squad, but they went scoreless for the rest of the way.

Hull City leveled the count in the 32nd minute with a header by Uruguayan forward Abel Hernandez from a cross by Scottish defender Andrew Robertson to make it a 1-1 tie at the break.

Hernandez then scored another one five minutes after the restart to help the Tigers grab the lead before an own goal by Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings made it a 3-1 count in the 62nd minute.

Meanwhile, Watford was held to a goalless draw by another newly-promoted team, Middlesbrough FC, at their own home ground of Vicarage Road also last Saturday, BBC Sport reported.

Head coach Walter Mazzarri's side is currently on a six-game winless streak, which resulted in a drop to the 14th place in the overall standings, just seven points above the bottom three relegation zone.

The Hornets are two points behind Bournemouth and a long 19 points below the Europa League qualifying berth presently held by fifth-place team Manchester City.
