Contending squads AC Milan and SSC Napoli will both look to keep their place in the top five of the 2016-2017 Serie A season table as they square off on Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

Milan, who is currently holding the second and last Europa League qualifying berth for next season at the fifth spot in the overall standings, has been on a downward spiral at the moment with three winless games in their last four outings.

Meanwhile, Napoli extended its unbeaten streak to nine games as they romped cellar-dwelling team Pescara, 3-1, at their home ground of San Paolo Stadium, SB Nation reported.
After a goalless first half of action, head coach Maurizio Sarri's suddenly came alive after the restart with two goals in the first four minutes of the second half.
Italian defender Lorenzo Tonelli and team captain Marek Hamsik netted a goal each in the 47th and 49th minutes before Belgian winger Dries Mertens made it a 3-0 count with five minutes left before full-time.
Pescara forward Gianluca Caprari scored a consolation goal in injury time to prevent a shutout loss.
