Huawei Mate 9 has been considered as head turner due to its massive 5.9 inch screen display. However, with the recently reported increased RAM and storage, this smartphone continues to attract more consumers worldwide.
Since the introduction of the two versions of Mate 9 in 2016, global and local consumers were satisfied with its performance. The MHA-L29 Global unit and MHA-L09 Chinese unit both came with 4GB RAM and 64GB. However, recent reports indicate that the said Huawei phone just received a major upgrade.
Based on reports, versions of Mate 9 having 6GB RAM and 128GB storage has surfaced in several online stores. Such smartphone bearing the said upgrade is not a Mate 9 Pro, but merely an upgraded Mate 9, according to GSM Arena.
Online stores indicated that the upcoming 6GB Mate 9 will have similar color that of the previously released 4GB Mate 9. According to reports, Mocha Brown and Champagne Gold are still the color variations that consumers may choose from.
As of the current writing, store specification list indicates that there are no other significant alterations to the upcoming 6GB RAM Mate 9, apart from the aforementioned upgrades. The said smartphone device would still be having a 5.9" FHD 1920*1080 display, capacitive touch screen, Hisilicon Kirin 960 octa core processor.
With respect to its software, the Huawei Mate 9 that has an improved RAM and storage still run EMUI 5.0 and Android 7.0 as its operating system. In terms of its camera, Mate 9 still possesses 20.0MP Monochrome for its back camera, while still supporting 8.0MP, F1.9 front camera.
