Eminem is currently working on his ninth studio album. There are still no specific details about the album reportedly titled "Success" but Kendrick Lamar is expected to be one of the possible collaborators to be featured in the album.
Lamar is one of the artists who can prove that Eminem is highly professional and strict about his projects. In a recent "The Zach Sang Show" episode, Ed Sheeran revealed how Eminem thought Lamar used a ghostwriter for his songs before the two collaborated on his album "Marshall Mathers LP 2" back in 2013.
According to Sheeran, it was revealed to him by Rick Rubin, executive producer of Eminem's 2013 album, that the "Rap God" rapper actually put Lamar to a test before they worked on the track. Eminem was said to have invited Lamar to his studio and asked him to show his work on-the-spot as his engineer records him.
Eventually, Lamar impressed Eminem by penning some great verses, finally convincing the Detroit rapper that he does not use a ghostwriter. It is then possible that Eminem will partners with Lamar again on his upcoming project based on the past experience of the former with the latter.
Lamar is not the only one who is anticipated to be a part of Eminem's ninth studio album. There are many other artists who have openly expressed their interest to work with the legendary rapper, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
In an interview back in March 2015 with Entertainment Weekly, Demi Lovato revealed that she was Eminem's fan and dreamed to work with him someday. She also told the publication that she would love to collaborate with Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas.
Like Lovator, Skylar Grey is also an Eminem fan. Grey has already worked with Eminem on a duet titled "Kill For You" in the past.
In an interview with Oakland Press, Grey called Eminem her "favorite person." She admitted to being very comfortable working with the "Without Me" rapper.
Another artist who is likely to be featured in Eminem's upcoming album is Rihanna. Eminem and Rihanna has recorded four collaboration songs so far.
Eminem has yet to disclose his collaborators in his ninth studio album. Meanwhile, watch a clip about the "Rap God" rapper here:
