Michael Schumacher health update remains elusive up to now. Such secrecy prompted former manager of Schumacher to criticize the F1 legend's family for not revealing the truth about his health.
The former manager of Schumacher, Willi Weber, has criticized the family of the F1 racer for keeping the medical conditions and important health updates from the public. Weber, who was with Schumacher as he won titles with Benetton and Ferrari, believes that Schumacher family is not truthful of the racer's condition.
"For some time now, I've been saying that the Schumacher family is not telling the whole truth. It's time to pour pure wine for his millions of fans. But I'm biting on granite because for a long time my advice is no longer heard," Weber told German magazine Bunte.
The advice of Weber to update the public about Schumacher's health condition was not fully realized, especially after the family implemented the so-called media blackout to protect Michael Schumacher's privacy. The idea that the personal life of the racer is not a public issue was explicitly voiced out by Schumacher's agent, Sabine Kehm.
"Michael's health is not a public issue, so we will not comment on it. We are aware that this is difficult to understand for some people, but we are in perfect agreement with Michael's attitude and can only say thanks for the understanding, Metro quoted Kehm as saying.
As a result of the lack of updates, various rumors and speculations surfaced the internet regarding the health condition of Michael Schumacher. Some of the reports are not even helpful, including some pranks regarding Schumacher's recovery and even sometimes death.
To some extent, the lack of significant and reliable update led some followers to make some drastic moves, including invasion of privacy and trespassing. In retrospect, it was reported that an unknown individual managed to sneak inside Schumacher residence and take a picture of the racer without his consent.
