"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is going to be darker with more deaths looming in the upcoming episodes. Lennie James, who plays Morgan Jones, revealed precisely how many deaths are expected to be seen when the season returns. [WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS "THE WALKING DEAD" SEASON 7 SPOILERS.]

The mid-season finale titled "Hearts Still Beating" saw Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group, reunited again after they were disbanded when Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Rhee). In the second half of Season 7, fans of the zombie apocalypse drama series could expect more tragic deaths as battle between Negan and Rick brews.

"I can say that the second date you'll be introduced to one, maybe two, new worlds," James told Metro.co.uk during a a roundtable event.  "There are a couple, two, three, major losses. And there is a push towards war. There are lines being drawn, us in Rick's group are learning about the breadth of Negan's dominion."

James teased that Rick is ready to raise war against Negan. A shocking twist would reveal, where certain people would go, whether they take Rick or Negan's side in the upcoming battle when "The Walking Dead" Season 7 returns.

When it comes to his character, James revealed that he is not worried when Morgan will meet his demise. He hoped that Morgan stays longer in the show, but right now he confirmed that he is enjoying the series.

Moreover, James confirmed that a phenomenal character is about to die in the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7. He added that he was jealous because it is how he wants his character to die.

Meanwhile, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, told Entertainment Weekly that his character will be in a kill mode in the remaining episodes of Season 7. There will be a major transformation in Daryl that he will rise up to take revenge against Negan.

Daryl suffered so much under Negan's hands in the mid-season finale. He was forced to eat dog food and went through hell when he was tortured.  Reedus added that Daryl remembered how his friends, Abraham and Glenn died, and this time noone can stop him from taking revenge in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
