Kevin Spacey-starred "House of Cards" Season 5 gets its premiere date on May 30 with a chilling message, "We make the terror." It used the President Donald Trump's inauguration day to release a sinister teaser trailer on Netflix.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Netflix political drama "House of Cards" released an omnious teaser to reveal the show's May premiere date. The short clip showed an upside down American flag hanging in front of the Capitol Building flaps in the wind as a chilling children's chorus recites the Pledge of Allegiance.

The main takeaway from the threatening trailer of "House of Cards" is that the Underwoods are definitely going to follow through on their promise to bring the terror in Season 5. Season 4 ended with the fictional president declaring, "We make the terror."

The Netflix drama "House of Cards" Season 5 stars Kevin Spacey as ruthless U.S. President Frank Underwood with "Wonder Woman" actress Robin Wright as his wife and ambitious First Lady Claire and possibly vice president, Claire Underwood, E! News reported. "Moonlight" actor Mahershaler Ali recently revealed that his character Remy will not be returning for the upcoming season.

To recall, "House of Cards" Season 4 ended with a hostage crisis and the Underwoods negotiating to end it, using the situation to their advantage in the election cycle. However, the hostage situation was not exactly a happy ending with the terrorists live-streamed the death. Meanwhile, Boris McGiver's character Hammerschmidt published an article about the Underwood's dastardly dealing with Remy (Ali), Jackie ("Swingtown" actress Molly Parker), and President Walker ("Condemned" actor Michel Gill).

The "House of Cards" Season 4 cast also included Jayne Atkinson, Derek Cecil, Kim Dickens, Paul Sparks, Joel Kinnaman, Michael Kelly, Neve Campbell, Nathan Darrow, Elizabeth Marvel, Ellen Burstyn, and Cicely Tyson. Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott are among the newcomers joining the cast for Season 5.

Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese will serve as the new showrunners for "House of Cards" Season 5 after creator Beau Willimon stepped down after Season 4. The show is based on the BBC miniseries, began in 2013, and has aired every year since.

"House of Cards" Season 5 will premiere on May 30, Tuesday, on Netflix.
