"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 10 will see Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) in the brink of a serious tragedy.
In episode 10, the three doctors will be heading to a women's correctional facility to tend to a 16-year-old patient who is pregnant. While there, they will be shocked to see the kind of people they would have to deal with.
While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Capshaw said that when she and the other cast members sat down for the table read, they were shocked and excited to see what is store for the three characters in the premiere.
But soon enough, Capshaw, Luddington and Wilson became anxious over the fact that their characters will be put in danger while in prison. "We were feeling like, inevitably, because it is 'Grey's,' something big is going to have to happen. Every time we turned a page or went down a hallway or got frisked by a security guard, we were all waiting for the other shoe to drop. It felt like the 'Silence of the Lambs' episode. It felt like something was just going to jump out at us. It was really, really fun in a different way to feel excited and anxious in that way," she said.
Meanwhile, Capshaw confirmed that she, Luddington and Wilson will be part of almost all of the scenes in episode 10. In fact, since the filming day fell on her daughter's sixth birthday, the actress was left with no other choice but to celebrate it on set.
Capshaw added that the character they will be helping in prison does not look like a dangerous person, but she is. And she will be doing something terrible that could risk the lives of the other doctors.
In other news, Alex Karev's (Justin Chambers) fate will also be revealed in episode 10. In the midseason finale, Alex decided to not attend his trial. Instead, he escaped without telling anyone where he was going. In the promo released by ABC, Alex is seen standing behind bars. It is possible that he will go to prison.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 10 will air on ABC on Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. EST.
