"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 cast member Jessica Capshaw recently opened up about the hit ABC series, as well as what is in store for her character, Arizona.
In the previous episodes, a new character named Eliza (Marika Dominczyk) was introduced as a new love interest for Arizona. At first, the latter was hesitant to reciprocate not only because Eliza seemed like a terror doctor, but also because Arizona just got out of her marriage with Callie (Sara Ramirez).
But in the midseason finale episode, Arizona finally accepted Eliza's invitation for the two of them to hangout. As of late, it is still unclear how the two characters' relationship will progress, but there are rumors that it will not be long-lasting.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Capshaw was asked if she thinks Arizona and Callie could still get back together sometime in the future. Their reconciliation could also mean Ramirez's return to the hit ABC series.
"I do not know. Certainly, things have progressed and moved on and we now are in a space where I would very much hope we have all the opportunity in the world to make great stories for all the people who loved those characters together. We would not all fell like unless they were together, no one would be happy. That would be too sad. There is too much fun to be had," she said.
Meanwhile, Capshaw is very happy that she is part of a show like "Grey's Anatomy," that has been on air for the past 14 years. While speaking with AOL, the actress also shared some details during her audition for the show several years ago.
When asked to spill details about Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), Capshaw said that she does not know for sure if Alex will go to prison. But since Arizona and Alex have a good working relationship, Capshaw only has good things to say about Chambers. The actress said that her co-star is very generous and positive.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will return to ABC for episode 10 on Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. EST.
