"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 could see Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) finding out what Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) did in the midseason finale.
According to TV Guide, episode 10 will pick up just a few minutes after episode 9 left off. This means that viewers will find out if Alex took the plea deal for his trial. Last year, Andrew de Luca (Giacomo Gianniotti) filed a case against him after he physically assaulted him.
Alex was in danger of losing his job at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) already downgraded his services by sending him to work at a clinic, and Alex was not very happy with this.
In episode 10, Jo will find out that there will not be a trial after all, and this makes her very uncomfortable. She only wants what is best for Alex, and all the more that she does not want him to escape the case. But Alex is already going through too much.
Also in episode 9, Jo told Alex the truth about her previous marriage to an abusive man. Alex was shocked to find out this detail, but all the more was he shocked to find out that Jo is not his girlfriend's real name.
Meanwhile, on top of all of these things happening in Jo and Alex's life, the former will also be sent to a maximum security cell to treat a 16-year-old pregnant inmate. She will be joined by Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Dr. Bailey.
While there, the three doctors will be surprised to see the kind of life the inmates there are living. They will also put their lives at risk when their patient suddenly goes ballistic.
In other news, Luddington is pregnant with her first child, and the actress recently responded to rumors that this will be written into Jo's storylines. According to her, she is unsure whether or not Jo will also be pregnant in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, but as of now, she is not.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will return to ABC on Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. EST. The series was supposed to premiere on Jan. 19, but was moved back by the network.
