"Prison Break" creator Paul T. Scheuring teased something exciting about the reboot. "Prison Break" Season 5 will return to the small screen with intense action and fast turn of events, which is something different from the past four seasons, where Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) took time to escape from the cell.

"Prison Break" Season 5 will see more thrilling events that fans have not seen ever before in the Fox serial drama. Scheuring promised that the "biggest prison escape" happening in the reboot would make fans more glued to Fox's nine-episode revival.

"This is very tight, close-ended story," Entertainment Weekly quoted Scheuring as saying at the Television Critics Association's press tour early in January. "It's just constant thriller cliffhanger revelation one after another. It just feels very dense, and [it's] a story that's not disingenuous."

In an earlier interview, Scheuring shared that he got the inspiration to revive "Prison Break" from the well known epic in history, "The Odyssey." "Prison Break" Season 5 is about someone getting back to life, and it is what happened to Michael. Miller's character is returning without him knowing that he left a son with his wife Sarah (Sarah Wayne Callies).

When Season 4 concluded in 2009, Michael was presumed dead due to brain tumor. His wife moved on to her new life without Michael, while raising their son. In an interview with Digital Spy, Miller hinted at the possibility that Michael may be a changed man, which adds to more conflict in the story.

During the past season, Michael lived a life alone in the prison for seven years. In "Prison Break" Season 5, viewers would see a different Michael sporting a new tattoo. Miller told the publication that there are many circumstances inside the cell that could change a good man.

Whether Michael is still the same good man, or he has gone to the dark side is something that viewers should watch out for when the revival returns. The question that the next season should answer is whether Michael has crossed the line or not.

"Prison Break" Season 5 premieres on April 4 on Fox. It will air every Tuesday at 9/8c. Watch the video below about Miller, talking about Season 5:
