The music video "Crooked" by BIGBANG's G-Dragon gained over 100 million views on YouTube and becomes the artist's sixth song to achieve the milestone figure. The single's video hit 10 million views on Jan. 23, Monday.
The "Crooked" music video came out on Sept. 4, 2013 as part of G-Dragon's second solo album, "Coup D'Etat". It was filmed in London and features the singer's unique fashion sense. It tells about a man in pain as he was abandoned by love.
The 28-year-old BIGBANG leader went solo in 2009 and has released three albums outside of the boy band. "Crooked" is his first solo music video to hit 100 million views, according to Soompi. He now has six music videos with 100 million views on YouTube, including those of BIGBANG.
BIGBANG's "Fantastic Baby" released in 2012 and "Bang Bang Bang" which debuted in 2016 both have over 200 million views. Music videos for "Loser," "Bad Boy" as well as Taeyang and G-Dragon's "Good Boy" earned more than 100 million views. Other South Korean artists and K-pop groups whose YouTube videos reached 100 million views are HyunA, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TWICE, BTS, EXO and BIGBANG's label mates PSY and 2NE1.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon's art brand PeaceMinusOne, recently staged a four-day media exhibition at Galerie Frank Elbaz in Paris, France. The rapper is not just a singer-songwriter and record producer but a fashion icon as well. He is collaborating with his stylist Gee Eun for project PeaceMinusOne which threw a Paris fashion week party at the Le Pompon club.
Among those enjoying the PeaceMinusOne party were Victoria's Secret model Bella Hadid, Japanese jewelry designer Yoon Ambush, model Anna Cleveland and French musical artist Sam Tiba. French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing and South Korean hip hop artist Keith Ape were also present, Vogue reported.
G-Dragon can come back to Paris anytime for his collection. Hence, those who missed the fashion week party need not worry. Furthermore, anyone can check the South Korean's collection at Joyce clothing store in Hong Kong as well as at Colette, Dover Street Market in London.
