At 41 years old, Anderson Silva has not won in his last five fights, dropping four losses and one no contest, but that does not mean he does not believe he can take on two of the best fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship after expressing his desire to meet Michael Bisping and Conor McGregor inside the Octagon.
Silva, who is considered the greatest mixed martial artist of all time, will be locking horns against Derek Brunson at UFC 208 on Feb. 11 in New York. However, he has set his eyes on fighting middleweight rival and current champ Bisping, MMA Junkie reported.
Bisping and Silva have already met at UFC at UFC Fight Night 84 in February 2016 with the Brit taking the five-round unanimous decision win. The Brazilian, however, thinks "something was left in the air" and says that it would be a perfect time for a rematch. Bisping seems to agree as he is looking for a "money fight" but Silva has one condition: the fight will not be scheduled in Bisping's home country, England.
Also, Silva, who holds a 16-4 record in the UFC, said he wanted to test waters and face current lightweight champion McGregor, noting that it is the Irish fighter's intelligent standup game and unique style he wants to challenge and not the title McGregor has.
Aside from fighting two of the best UFC fighters, Silva said that he has taken another path in writing and revealed that he could be working with streaming giant, Netflix, SB Nation's Bloody Elbow reported. He shared that he wrote a script for a series and Netflix brought it.
Silva said that he still cannot unveil the details of the series but said they are still in the works as he needs to prepare for his upcoming fight. He added that when his fighting career is over, his biggest dream is to become an action star and maybe win an Oscar.
