"Dance Moms" Season 7 will soon see the return of Chloe Lukasiak in the finale episode. Ahead of episode 13, the Lifetime reality TV star opened up about the show, as well as her biggest rival, Maddie Ziegler.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, the 15-year-old "Center Stage: On Pointe" star admitted that she is no longer friends with Ziegler since the two of them have not had the chance to spend time together.
Lukasiak's best friend on the show, Brooke Hyland, and her are no longer spending as much time with each other either. Luckily, the former is still hanging out with her former "Dance Moms" co-star, Nia Frazier.
"Nia and I have always been very close, but I do not get to see Maddie and Brooke that often. It is just hard to stay close when you are traveling all over the world. We are not as close as we used to be, but that is just kind of what happens, unfortunately," she said.
Meanwhile, Lukasiak also shared why she decided to return to "Dance Moms" when the reality TV show is already ending. According to her, returning to the show is not her goal. Rather, she wants to return to ALDC to compete.
"My mom got in touch with them and they were like, 'Yes! Come back!' We will see what is going to happen next. It was really amazing. It was a little bit different, because the team has changed a lot since I have left. There were people I have never met before, but for me it was very much like walking back to my own home. I was like, 'This was my childhood,'" she said.
When asked if Lukasiak will be part of the ALDC's group routine at the Nationals, she hinted that it could be a possibility. "I have a pretty dramatic entrance. Nobody knew we were coming. Just look for Nia Frazier's reaction. It was the most amazing thing I have seen this year. And Holly cried, and it made me cry. There are also some amazing dances, of course," she said.
"Dance Moms" Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
