Pop superstar Justin Bieber teased fans with a tweet on Friday saying he is "working on something special". Various reports also reveal the 22-year-old singer might release a new music or maybe, an album before he takes a break in autumn.
Bieber is reportedly recording and finishing a new music before he jets for some alone time, a source said to The Daily Star. "Justin [has] been recording some new music in LA to sign off with and then he just plans to go travel for bit," the source said.
Bieber is currently committed to his "Purpose" tour after which he plans to go travel to recharge like what his friend Ed Sheeran did last year, the source added. "His 'Purpose' tour has been grueling and Justin is looking forward to a bit of peace and getting back to nature," the source revealed to The Daily Star.
The source also clarified that fans can look forward to a new music from the Canadian heartthrob. However, after the release, they should expect that Bieber will not be visible for a while.
The "Purpose" concert tour will restart in Mexico next month, according to The Daily Star. Bieber is reportedly planning to have huge shows in the summer which includes a date at British Summer Time in Hyde Park, London on July 2.
According to Elite Daily, the singer's upcoming hiatus is a much-needed break considering his behavior while on tour. The said article listed a number of incidents when Bieber was called out for his unprofessional attitude.
"Over the course of his tour, Justin stormed off stage, chucked his mic at the ground, sneezed on his fans mid-show, crashed a high school soccer game and masqueraded around Amsterdam in a felt goatee and sunglasses," Elite Daily reported.
As various reports pointed out, Bieber is not the only artist who decided to take a long break after a successful stretch in his career. An article by Metro.co.uk cited pop singer Sheeran who took a 12-month break from the limelight to work on some new music, Metro.co.uk reported. The singer-songwriter recently released two new singles "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You" and is expected to kick start his world tour in March.
