Miranda Kerr and ex-husband Orlando Bloom are taking co-parenting to the next level. During Harper's Bazaar 150 Most Fashionable Women event on Friday, she spoke highly of the actor and his girlfriend Katy Perry whom the model revealed has a great relationship with their son Flynn.
In an interview with PEOPLE on Friday, Kerr called her "amazing" and "dynamic" co-parenting setup with Bloom as a "modern family". She also revealed to have a great relationship with her ex-husband whom he treats like a "brother". "Orlando and I are literally like family, he's like a brother to me. It's very weird, but we really care about each other and we have a great relationship, so I feel very lucky," Kerr said to PEOPLE.
She also candidly shared about their 6-year-old son Flynn whom she revealed gets along well with Perry. "They're great. They get along really well," Kerr described her son's relationship with Bloom's present girlfriend.
The former Victoria's secret model and "Lord of the Rings" actor became parents to Flynn on January 2011 and separated after three years of marriage, according to PEOPLE.
In an interview with Net-a-Porter's The Edit in January of last year, Kerr opened up about an agreement she had with Bloom wherein they will not introduce anyone to Flynn unless it is serious. "We had to know the person for six months and feel good about them," Kerr model said in an interview with The Edit.
At present, both exes are happily in love with their respective partners. She added that her ex-husband and son already met her fiancé Evan Spiegel, co-founder and CEO of Snapchat, and dished that they have a good relationship.
Kerr and Spiegel had been dating for a year before they got engaged July last year, US Weekly reported. The former confirmed the news by posting an image of her engagement ring with a Snapchat Bitmoji re-enacting a proposal and with words "Marry Me!" filter on her Instagram account. The post was captioned, "I said yes!!!"
