Game developer Bethesda has just announced that they will be shelling out new updates for both "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim Special Edition." The soon-to-be-released tweak will bring in visual enhancements to the game, not to mention that it will be free of charge.
PlayStation 4 Pro owners are in for a treat come next week as patch 1.9 will go live for "Fallout 4." This was confirmed by the developer's global community lead, Matt Grandstaff as he posted the said news on Bethesda's website.
The new patch will bring better graphics and more detailed backdrops as it will feature a native 1440p resolution. Godray effects will also be upped alongside its other game elements such as non-playable characters (NPC), structures, trees, and even grass.
Such top end visuals, however, will take quite a toll in the console's memory space as it will gobble up 58GB of it for the PC. As such, it also highlighted a list of PC spec requisites for the upcoming game update.
Apart from the memory allocation, an Intel Core i7-5820K or a later version is the recommended processor for the update. A 64-bit Windows 7, 8, or 10 operating systems are the suggested OSs to be preloaded into the build. Moreover, an 8GB GTX 1080 graphics processing unit (GPU) or an equivalent is also needed not to mention that the PC needs at least 8GB of RAM, Techradar reported.
Players who got all these stashed in their respective PC builds may go ahead with the upgrade as soon as it comes out. Those who wish to resort back to the way things were can easily disable it on the game launcher's menu.
