"Goblin" will return to tvN this month, and lead star Gong Yoo has some exciting information about the upcoming episodes.
According to Soompi, the two-part special episode for "Goblin" will air on the network on Feb. 3 and 4 at 6:40 p.m. KST. The special episodes will feature interviews, behind the scenes clips, bloopers, photos and more.
As of late, two teasers for the special episodes have also been released. One of them featured Gong Yoo, who played the role of the Goblin on the hit K-drama show. The clip opened with Gong Yoo teasing that "Goblin" is far from being over. It was followed by several behind the scenes footages. Gong Yoo returned on screen and said that the fact that "Goblin" is not finished yet is perplexing.
In a second teaser, Gong Yoo and his co-star, Lee Dong Wook was talking to each other. The former asked the latter if outtakes will be part of the upcoming episodes. Lee Dong Wook replied by saying that everything will be part of the special episodes.
At one point, Yoo In Na also joined in the video, and she and Lee Dong Wook concluded the clip by urging fans to tune in to the upcoming specials.
Meanwhile, the fans of "Goblin" are not the only ones feeling sad over the show ending. The cast members have previously expressed their loneliness for not being able to work with each other anymore. But luckily for them, the cast of "Goblin" are set to go on an extravagant vacation in Thailand this month.
Despite the show's ending, cast members like Yook Sungjae confirmed that he is still in contact with his peers. On Sunday, Yook Sungjae made an appearance on SBS's show, "One Night of TV Entertainment," where he confirmed that he still communicates with majority of his co-stars.
The actor also revealed that when he was offered a role in "Goblin," he felt the need to accept the project immediately even without reading the script yet. When it comes to his co-stars that he talks to on the phone frequently, Yook Sungjae said that he is still in contact with Lee Dong Wook and Gong Yoo.
