Bethesda Game Studios' simulation title - "Fallout Shelter" has been announced to be heading over to both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Such news will introduce the game to a wider array of audiences that prefer playing the said platforms.
The game will be rolled out under the Xbox Play Anywhere program as it is slated this Feb. 7, according to Xbox's website. Moreover, the upcoming title can be downloaded free of charge on both Windows and Xbox Stores.
Deemed as a Play Anywhere title, players' progress will be saved on both aforementioned platforms and pick up from where they left off in the game to any of the two consoles. The game also works well with the Xbox One controller whenever players prefer to play it on their TV.
The game will let players take on the role of an Overseer as they put up their very own Vault. Once set up, players will have to manage the inhabitants of his/her underground community. They can also send their dwellers into the radiation-laden Wasteland to scavenge needed items and even fend off mutated horrors such as ghouls and radscorpions.
In the interim, "Fallout 4" will finally be getting a PlayStation 4 Pro update, though it was not disclosed on when will it be out. The patch will mainly focus on the game's lighting and graphical elements, though 4K resolution will not be a part of it.
The PS4 Pro update will bring in a native 1440p resolution, improved Godray effects, and better draw distance from grass, trees, and even to non-playable characters. Furthermore, both "Skyrim Special Edition" and "Fallout 4" are slated to bring in new features to their respective game mods, Express has learned.
