If latest reports are anything to go by, the mobile carrier T-Mobile is giving a free one-year subscription to Netflix when buying a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge or S7.
It is said that the tech giant Samsung will launch its forthcoming Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy S8 in April. Several reports also indicate that Samsung will show off the devices later this month at MWC in Barcelona.
Recently, the online retailer Best Buy was giving a free Samsung Smart HDTV with purchase of a Galaxy S7 Edge or Samsung Galaxy S7.
Now, if people purchase a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge from the carrier T-Mobile between February 1 and February 7, they will get a single-use code for Netflix that will give them a one year subscription to the streaming service.
Netflix has a bunch of fresh content coming this month such as Santa Clarita Diet, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season two) and the FX O.J. Simpson docu-drama.
A leaked video shows the S7 smartphone running Android 7.0 N that is expected to see a release from Sprint, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile in the forthcoming weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone sports a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch display. The Samsung devices are powered by 4 GB of RAM, Adreno 530 GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge include 32 GB of internal storage as well as a microSD expansion slot that will support 256 GB microSD cards. The two smartphones have a 5 MP front-facing shooter and a 12 MP rear camera. Furthermore, both Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 are waterproof and dustproof.
Also, Vodafone rolled out the firmware for the flagship pair in Germany and France and days ago, SamMobile reported.
Now, people can download the carrier-branded Android 7.0 N firmware for the S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 smartphones thanks to Vodafone.
Android 7.0 Nougat brings several improvements to the two devices such as Android Nougat's faster app installs, the ability to adjust the resolution of screen to save battery and Blue Light filter for the display.
