A-list Korean stars Rain and Kim Tae Hee performed a duet of Eco's "Happy Me" on Jan. 19 to entertain the guests at their wedding reception. The newlyweds exchanged their marriage vows in an intimate wedding ceremony on Jan. 19 in a Catholic church in Seoul.
Despite being two of the richest artists in Korea, they chose to have a simple wedding, witnessed by just around 50 selected relatives and friends. According to Soompi, the wedding reception was attended by the closest friends of the groom and bride, including music producer and singer Psy and Park Jin-Young.
During the wedding reception, Psy performed his song "Entertainer," accompanied by Park Jin-Young on the piano. An insider who graced the wedding reception told Korea Times, "The venue was so romantic with an amazing night view over the Han River. The couple must have been tired after a long day but took photos with each of the attendees."
Rain and Tae Hee held their wedding reception in The Skyfarm. The venue is said to be managed by Noh Hee-Young, Rain's close friend and the CEO of YG Foods. Soon after the ceremony, their wedding guests posted photos of them on social media and extended their best wishes to the couple.
On Feb. 4, Rain and Tae Hee returned from their honeymoon in Bali. They spent six days and five nights on the Indonesian Island, away from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives. The two have just reportedly moved into their new home in Cheongdam Dong, Seoul.
A few days before their wedding day, Rain took to Instagram to officially announce his upcoming nuptials with his girlfriend of more than four years. His announcement came as an endearing letter he personally wrote for his fans. In the said letter, he also thanked his fans who have supported him throughout his career.
Rain and Tae Hee started dating in 2011 after shooting a TV commercial together. They had reportedly planned to marry last Christmas but decided to postpone it due to the political scandals besetting South Korea at that time.
Tae Hee is best known for her roles in "Stairway To Heaven," "Love Story in Harvard" and "Yong Pal," while Rain is known for his roles in "Full House" and Hollywood film "Ninja Assassin." He is set to release his new single in March.
