Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 15" is currently doing a good run on home consoles despite the fact that PC gamers have been longing for it since it came out. It looks like that scenario is slowly inching in becoming a reality as its game director is conducting some test runs on PC.

"FFXV" has established its superb graphics and gameplay on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Nonetheless, the latest installment will not stop from there in pushing its graphical elements to the limits as the developer's Business Division 2 is as of late conducting trial runs on "visual fidelity" using the game as its vessel.

However, the set up that was devised in order for it to run required a top notch PC build that dons two of NVIDIA's Pascal-based GTX 1080 graphics cards that run on a scalable link interface (SLI), according to DualSHOCKERS. Unfortunately, the trial run was not documented when it was conducted though it is said that the results were awe-inspiring.

The game's flora and fauna, its draw distance and density were all lifelike with its degree of detail being heightened up dramatically. Currently, Business Division 2's intent in conducting this experiment is still undisclosed, though it is indeed promising for Square Enix's future titles.

Game director Hajime Tabata recently spoke with Famitsu as cited by Gematsu that he plans on releasing "FFXV" as a "technical attempt." He further explained that he wants to work on the PC platform in developing contents that are exclusive on the said platforms such as quest creation and even developing mods.

Meanwhile, "FFXV's" Chapter 13 update is set to arrive this March alongside the Gladiolus expansion. Its Booster Pack DLC, on the other hand, will be released on Feb. 21 where it will have a free and season pass versions. The equally awaited Magitek Exosuits for Noctis and his crew is reported to be delayed as both Saban and Lionsgate tapped Square Enix's attention due to the suits' resemblance to the "Power Rangers'" colorful war wear.
