The battle of Instagram photos with kids between “Descendants of the Sun” stars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo continues. But is it an online battle or a hint of a forthcoming marriage and family life amid rumors that the two actors would marry soon?
On Tuesday, Feb. 7, Song Joong-ki posted two photos on his Instagram account with two young boys wearing gray and black hoodies. The photos, obviously a fashion shoot, are from his Top10 clothing line endorsement.

In the first photo, he is seen wearing a black T-shirt with a white band across the chest, paired with a grey hoodie with black sleeves, blue jeans and white sneakers. The young boy with him has a similar outfit, except the hoodie has a different black-and-gray hoodie combination.
The second photo has the 31-year-old actor wearing the same T-shirt with a gray hoodie. The young boy with him is a bit younger than the first boy and wears also a gray hoodies.
As expected, the photo collage became viral with almost 135,000 likes in two days and elicited more than 700 comments. Some of the commenters found the two kids as well as Song Joong-ki cute, while others continue the pressure on him and Song Hye Kyo to marry and have beautiful children like the young girls the two posted separately on their Instagram accounts just a week apart in January.
Khenreyesgajarion wrote: “Please marry @kyo1122” referring to the Instagram account of Song Hye Kyo. Chinitanganghel added: “How cute if he has he’s own son, and taking photo like this.”
Wedding Rumors
On Wednesday, the two actors were hit with wedding rumors when Laneige, Song Hye Kyo’s endorsement, congratulated the 35-year-old on her wedding to an unnamed “Oppa” although when the news of an impending wedding spread, Laneige quickly edited the message on its Facebook post.
Speculations say the basis of Laneige’s greeting is leaks of wedding invitation of the two celebrities, although both have neither confirmed nor denied the story.
