"The Originals" Season 4 recently dropped a new trailer featuring the return of Cami. However, this comes as a surprise since Cami has already been killed off previously.
According to Buddy TV, Cami's return could just be a product of Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) imagination. This means that the character will not really be back in present time. Instead, Cami could be featured in the hit The CW show via a series of flashbacks.
The trailer also confirmed a five-year time-jump in the lives of the characters, namely, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Klaus, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Marcel, Hope and more. This also means that a lot of things have already happened in their lives.
For instance, it has become Hayley's biggest mission to reunite the Mikaelsons for the sake of her daughter. In an interview with TV Line before he left "The Originals," then executive producer Michael Narducci explained dished on what is in store for Hayley and Elijah.
According to him, the two characters will have plenty of scenes together not only because Hayley is trying to reunite Elijah with his family; but also because their relationship will once again be put to the test.
Narducci explained that the two characters' relationship is one of the most dynamic unions in the history of "The Originals" so it is only necessary that they are given emphasis in the coming season. He added that fans will learn what Hayley is willing to go through just to make that she will be successful in her new mission.
"These are two people who clearly love each other, even though they have a very complicated situation," he said. More specifically, Narducci said that Elijah is an old vampire who is so used to living his life the way he is, but Hayley is still struggling with her human side.
When their family is put in jeopardy, and when Hayley's daughter with Klaus is put at risk, all three of them will do everything in their power to make sure that none of them will get hurt or die.
"The Originals" Season 4 will premiere on The CW on March 17.
