Moreover, the executive deemed the villainous cosmic being as the upcoming film's main character. Feige highlighted that they purposely made the Earth's Mightiest Heroes pretty much fragmented in "Civil War" in order for them to set up Thanos' grand entrance in "Infinity War."

Aside from the Avengers, Star Lord's (Chris Pratt) crew in "Guardians of the Galaxy," Dr. Stephen Strange, and the friendly neighborhood Spidey are confirmed to be part of the big-budgeted project. Robert Downey Jr. even took to Facebook to confirm such participation as he went live and made Tom Holland as his cameraman during the live stream.

"Infinity War" was initially slated to be a two-part film. However, the second film will be dubbed differently. Both Anthony and Joe Russo have made it clear that despite the films being shot simultaneously, it will not be "two parts of the same story," according to Gamespot.

Meanwhile, it has to be known though if the film will feature beings other than Thanos. True blue fans are aware that equally powerful characters such as Eternity, Adam Warlock, The Living Tribunal, and even Galactus appeared in the mini-series that was published in 1992. "Infinity War" will be out May 4, 2018, while the fourth installment will be on May 3, 2019.
