After the release of Telltale Game's "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" episode 1 and 2, the fan base of the interactive survival-horror game are craving for more content. As such, the new episode, "Above the Law," will be released soon for all its available platforms.
According to Game Spot, Telltale has confirmed that the game arrives sometime in March, but no more details are given. As for its physical copies, it will include the first episode on the disk and a download code for the rest of the season, and it will launch on Feb. 28 in North America and March 3 in Europe.
The new season of "The Walking Dead" is enjoyed by players owning the current generation of platforms. However, according to Game Rant, Telltale Games decided not to release the game in the previous generation of consoles such as PS3 and Xbox 360, forcing players to either give up playing or buy a new console in order to continue.
"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" featured the returning heroine Clementine and a new playable character named Javier. They have a vastly different story, but due to some circumstances the two united and fight to survive and protect the people they care for.
Fans that chose to play the game without prior knowledge of the first two seasons will be able to catch up with the story so far. This is due to the fact that Telltale Games has put together a story generator which fills in on what happened so far in the series as a way of describing the kind of survivors the players are.
Otherwise, old players can import their saved files from their Season 2 playthrough, even those who played in the older platforms. However, transferring the saves from a PS3 or Xbox 360 can be complicated.
"The Walking Dead Season 3: A New Frontier" episodes 1 and 2 are available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. Here is the latest video trailer for the game:
